If You Heard About Us At The Parade….

The handout you received was mainly about youth group activities this summer. But I'd like to fill you in on what our Saturday night service is all about.

When we say "Not Your Grandma's Church", we mean a laid back, turn off the lights, turn up the music, light the candles intimate experience. It's a place where you can talk to the pastor about questions you may have without fear of judgment and condemnation.

The worship band looks like they can be playing in a bar (most of them have) but they have a heart for God.

So come, you'll probably learn a thing or two.

Found some old thoughts from college, might be interesting…

Too the ones who came before us their names are to great to mention. Their lives were dedicated to the calling long before the phrase was coined. The movements they brought were way beyond our comprehension. Their disciples, too many to many to number, the voices echo throughout eternity. The world remained changed forever. Elected as Saints from the beginning their work done is obvious. As life flashed by them they counted the costs and walked the path that was unbeaten. For those of us who have only heard their stories how could such things have been true? How could someone endure, eat so little, work so hard yet remain as strong of warriors? They were battle tested en-grained with all of God's attributes leaving the option of the flesh behind. Untainted hero's of the faith of Jesus Christ. Yet every time I wake up I lay in bed unchanged, unwaivered, unmoved and thus a disgrace. Animals will stop at nothing for their loved ones, but I however am the opposite, I start at nothing for my loved ones, remaining vacant abstaining from personal touch and sacrifice. And yes in my mind I have accomplished so much, changed the world, and in the mean time found the cure for cancer. Who have I helped in the realm of reality? I will say it first -no one- As a spectator I stand and watch my gifts setting on the shelf rotting, or maybe at best collecting dust.

- To those who have uttered the name of Christ before me and for those who will after I. Both are greater than I... The laziness has crept into these bones long before He did, but whose home is it? There will be a choice to be made - Who lives here with me? Is it Christ the Son? The risen One or a deviant impostor sucking my soul as a leech does to its host.

December 19th Service

Just wanted to let everyone know that Saturday, December 19th, will once again be the youth group over-nighter at the YMCA.

Why am I posting it on this side of the website? Because the event starts off with all the kids attending our EPIC service.

This would be a great service to bring a guest to. The service will be geared towards the kids with high energy music & a sermon that will explain the crux of christianity.

Always be in a Spirit of Prayer

Building is now a verb.

Dude, we are actively building right now, literally, I am driving by the church like everytime I get the chance to check things out. I am so excited I can't hardly contain it. God has blessed us during "our nations time of need." Which leads me to believe that God cannot be limited by our society or limited at all for that matter. God does what He wants and I am thankful to say that we are building because God wants to expand our ministry.
Please pray that the building project will go well and that it will continue to unify our church as I have seen.

This is sweet!

I am very excited about this website. We have needed something like this for a while now. Feel free to extend out our community onto the world wide net now. My hope is that we can improve our lives by introducing more of Christ to each other by using this, and also allowing for non-believers to check us out and perhaps joining God's kingdom!
